Robert P. Anderson

Robert P. Anderson has more than a quarter century’s experience as an attorney. Bob Anderson works with highly skilled, growth-driven business leaders in a focused effort to increase their company’s value. In addition, he acts as outside general counsel for small to midsize companies.

Bob served as a trial attorney on Estes v. Idea Engineering & Fabricating, 245 Mich App 328 (2001); 631 NW2d 89 (2001), en banc, 250 Mich App 270; 649 NW2d 84 (2002), a seminal 2002 Michigan case that gave shareholders a direct cause of action for oppression of their rights. Since the ruling Bob has helped a broad range of shareholders, including CPAs, manufacturers and even other attorneys, navigate these disputes.

In 1999 Bob had the unique experience of being retained by Purple Rose Films, LLC during the planning and production of the feature film Escanaba in da Moonlight starring and written by actor Jeff Daniels. Bob is credited in the film, the sound track CD, and since that time has appeared in feature film credits as legal counsel.
