Our client, the sitting township clerk in a Northern Michigan township, was charged along with two (2) other elected officials, county commisioners, and the county clerk's office secretary, with Perjur ... y. The group was accused of conspiring and individually perjuring themselves in an assault and battery trial of a town gadfly. I tried the case for one week -- spearheading the defense of the group in a high profile trial. My cross examination of the state's expert witness and of the complainant are worth reading.
