I am a shareholder with the law firm of Butzel Long and I am the Practice Group Leader of the Wealth Management-Estate Administration and Succession Planning Group of that Firm.  I am also a Certified Public Accountant.  I have prepared the estate plans for numerous wealthy clients, many of whom were and are executives in the auto industry.  I am also proficient in the area of tax compliance for fiduciary income tax, gift tax, estate tax and generation skipping tax.  I have taught courses in the area of  preparation of fiduciary income tax, gift tax, estate tax and generation skipping tax in  more than five states.  I have been a frequent speaker on the subject of estate planning for the Institute of Continuing Legal Education of the State Bar of Michigan, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, the Indiana CPA Society, the Ohio CPA Society, the West Virginia Society of CPAs and Professional Education Systems, Inc.
