We hired Hugh Dean to represent us in a probate case. At first he kept us informed. As the case progressed we were making more of an effort to keep in contact. When we finally had a deposition it went on for hours without a break. In the end we decided to settle for a very small amount because the entire procedure became unbearable. That was over 8 years ago and Hugh Dean still has our money. We had originally agreed to retain him with a contingency of 30 percent. Not only does he not deserve that but he should be paying us interest on top of the amount he has held from us all these years.
