Michael Janis Miske

I am a troubleshooter. I specialize in high profile, high risk jury trials, often re-strategizing cases poised for jury trial where a “problem” jurisdiction or “unprepared” law firm has placed a client in an untenable position. I handle all aspects of litigation and trial preparation including technical expert depositions, arguing motions, and serving as third-chair at trials.

My trial experience comes from serving as national trial counsel for numerous Fortune 500 companies including automotive manufacturers, tier-one suppliers and large excess-risk insurers. I have represented clients with tens of millions—and in one case billions—of dollars at immediate risk in courtrooms around the country in automotive franchise/dealer disputes, product liability cases and enforcement of arbitration provisions. 

I am an avid technophile and Mandarin Chinese speaker; I build my own computers and my academic interests range from digital privacy rights to classical Chinese Literature.
