Mark A. Wisniewski

Mark Wisniewski is the firm's Chairman/CEO. Additionally, Mr. Wisniewski is also the head of the firm's asbestos liability mass tort defense practices.  Since joining the firm in 1990, Mr. Wisniewski has served as first chair in several multi-million dollar statewide property damage lawsuits, with a particular emphasis on cases involving asbestos.  Mr. Wisniewski has been the lead trial attorney for cases in New York, Florida, North Dakota, Massachusetts, South Carolina, Minnesota, California and Kentucky.  His experience also extends to medical malpractice, products liability and premises liability defense. 

He is admitted to practice law in Michigan, Illinois and the U.S. District Courts of Eastern and Western Michigan.  Mr. Wisniewski has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Trial Practice at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. 

He was named a Michigan Super Lawyer 2008-2015. Only five percent of the attorneys in the state are named Super Lawyers.

Mr. Wisniewski received his J.D. from the University of Detroit School of Law, where he was Associate Editor of the Law Review.  He also earned an A.B. in Political Science and American History from the University of Michigan.  Mr. Wisniewski also worked as a probation officer in the District of Columbia.

Mr. Wisniuewski has served as a member of the Board of Trustees of De La Salle Collegiate High School, a Christian Brothers Private High School in Michigan and as the President of The University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law Alumni Association.  WAs the Presidentof the UDM Law School Alumni Association, Mr. Wisniewski served on the Dean Search Committee.
