Canon graduated from the University of Michigan in 2015 with a Bachelor's degree concentrating on Entrepreneurship. After graduation, Canon co-founded ReliveTheBAR which focuses on celebrating cultural pride, mentorship, and academic support for undergraduate students. Thereafter, he attended Western State College of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2019.
While in law school, Canon served as the President of the Student Bar Association, Business Editor of the Law Review Journal, and was a competing member of the Mock Trial Team and the Honor's Moot Court Board. Canon also served as the Attorney General for the National Black Law Students Association's Western Region. Throughout his experiences, Canon developed a passion for equipping and empowering people with the knowledge to succeed.
Canon is licensed to practice in the State of California and before the U.S. District Courts and the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts for the Eastern District of Michigan and the Central District of California. Canon is also a member of the Detroit Consumer Bankruptcy Association and Los Angeles County Bar Association. When he is not practicing, Canon is rooting for Wolverine Football, discovering new music from his favorite artists, and staying active with cycling and basketball.
