Horrible Lawyer!!!

I hired Marvin to represent me for some tickets I had! The fact that he wanted way more per ticket than a law firm should have been a Red flagged but because a woman I was friends with referred me to him I hired him! He ended up having me plea to a case over a ticket I could have gotten thrown out my...self but had to work! I had to pay 500-1000$ just to bond and stay free because he said he went to my court date and everything was taken care of, took my money and never said another word! I still plan on taking him to Claims court and filing a grievance with the state because I lost out on thousands of dollars and had my license suspended over him lying about taking care of things! If you see this review so not hire him period! He’s too old and forgets he said this and that And he’s very rude!!!!!

HORRIBLE AND INCOMPETENT ATTORNEY!!!!! PLEASE BEWARE!!!! VERY INCONSIDERATE!!!!

Warning Horrible!!!! We hired him in April of 2013 for a probate case and insurance case. He collected several fees, sent one letter to the insurance company and none to probate case. He indicated that the insurance company is in a waiting period and it is not like a regular court case. I have done a...ll other correspondents with the company back and forth on 17 occasions. He was fired in June of 2013. My relative died 2 years ago. The insurance company will not dispense a check because Marvin Smith refuses to give a letter stating that he is no longer the attorney. When he called me I requested he issue a letter. He hung up and stated, "I don't have to give you nothing, remember you fired me!" He also refuses to inform the insurance company that he is not my attorney.
