Biography
I practiced labor and employment law for the City of Detroit from December, 1973 through August 1990 and for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan (BCBSM) from September 1990 through March 2010, when I retired from corporate practice. When I left the City of Detroit, I was the Director of Litigation, where in addition to my labor and employment practice, I supervised all litigation in the Law Department. From there, I became the chief labor and employment attorney for BCBSM.
I retired from BCBSM and opened a solo law practice. I continue to practice labor and employment law, mostly representing who believe themselves victims of ilegal discrimination. On ocasion I handle traditional labor matters.
I expanded my areas of concentration to include family law and probate law. I enjoy litigation and counseling of clients.
I am active in the community and with my church. I am happily married to my wife of 43 years, a retired nursing professor. We have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.
