He stood up for my rights and raised arguments that the other side was legally unprepared for, so we won. Do the skills above, at times, rankle a few feathers of his legal adversaries? Sure, it’s tough for them to be made to backpedal. I saw his staunch defense of a principle upon which the other side wanted us silent, because it helped my case, not theirs.
