Nicholas Benedetti Andrew

Nick is an Associate with the Foley, Baron, Metzger & Juip PLLC. His practice includes defense of claims in toxic tort, environmental due diligence, spill management, and environmental compliance. Nick has represented clients in all aspects of civil litigation matters, including initial pleadings, discovery, mediation and trial. His experience includes matters related to facility permitting, mineral extraction regulations issues, surface and groundwater rights determinations, eminent domain takings and adminstrative procedure disputes.  He has practiced in state and federal courts throughout Michigan.

Before joining Foley, Baron, Metzger & Juip, Nick worked for a Detroit-area law firm primarily engaged in civil litigation. He has extensive trial experience in the area of individual and small business bankruptcy, financial management and turnaround management.

While in law school, Nick served as president of the Environmental Law Society and Chief Notes Editor of the Texas Environmental Law Journal. During law school, he served in internships with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the US Environmental Protection Agency, the Lower Colorado River Authority, and an environmental and land management law firm in Austin, Texas.

Nick is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, including the Environmental and Young Lawyers Sections, and is a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA).
