Matthew Dee Devitt

For over 15 years, I have been fortunate to work for several prominent Michigan based companies in a multitude of different business roles. I have had the opportunity to lead several important projects, manage great teams and learn from the best mentors and leaders. My background in business has given me the unique ability to see the big picture, utilize operational excellence to drive results and value for my clients, and most importantly to never be intimidated by a difficult situation.

After graduating from Peck, MI High School, I stayed local, graduating from Central Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. I then received my law degree, while working full time, from Michigan State University College of Law. I got involved in law because of the complexity and fast pace, but more importantly I love being a part of a team and helping clients achieve their important goals.

My core beliefs are 1) everyone should have access to high quality legal services and a dedicated advocate regardless of the size of their bank account or business, 2) the attorney works for the client, not the other way around and 3) an attorney should strive to build long term client relationships by promptly taking care of matters, keeping the client informed and providing value with every task and matter handled.
