I hired her for a pre-trial in the middle of July 2024. She attended only one online hearing, and that hearing was postponed to the next date. Then, the plaintiff withdrew their case before the next date. I let her know the moment it was withdrawn. I paid her $1700 for this trial and was hoping ...she would pro rate this amount since she only attended one online hearing. Once I asked her to provide me accounting, the situation turned into contentious. She just kept ignoring me for two months saying that she is busy, which is odd for a professional lawyer. I did not receive my accounting until I wrote a review for her in Avvo. The accounting that she provided me did not seem to me proportional. Overall, it was not a great experience.
