Parker Fisher

From an early age, my top priority when considering career options was the ability to help people. Because I am outgoing and enjoy meeting and talking to new people, I wanted to make a direct, face-to-face impact. Before deciding on law school, I worked as a substitute teacher and in emergency rooms. During that time, watching family and friends navigate life’s challenges, I realized that a legal career would allow me not only to help others but also to leverage my intellectual and organizational skills. In law school, I gained experience at three different firms and explored diverse areas of practice, including personal injury, medical malpractice, municipal law, wrongful conviction advocacy, and estate planning. For me, estate planning was the natural fit.

As an Estate Planning and probate attorney at Cooper, Riesterer & Gross, PLC, I provide strategic counsel, guiding clients through the comprehensive process of determining and articulating their long-term goals and then meticulously organizing their documentation to meet them. I assist in developing and executing practical, effective strategies not only to achieve our client’s desired outcomes, but also, importantly, to ensure peace of mind. My work as a substitute teacher and in emergency rooms taught me how to stay calm under pressure, communicate clearly, and show up for people when they are at their most vulnerable. When planning for life’s worst moments or having to navigate through them, clients deserve compassionate counsel who can assist them with grace, competency and efficiency. That is my role; that is what I do.

When I am not assisting clients, I take advantage of every opportunity to be with my wife, parents, brothers, and sister. Family is my foundation. I am also an avid outdoorsman and love adventure. My wife and I love to travel and are always on the lookout for new places to explore and new experiences to share. I especially enjoy traveling around the state to archery hunt and fish. When not pursuing adventure, most likely I will be tucked away, good book in hand.
