Sarah Lyn Wixson

Sarah L. Wixson earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Hope College in 2008, double-majoring in English and Spanish. Ms. Wixson was a Presidential Scholar, a Freshmen Music Prize Recipient, and a winner of an All-MIAA Academic Team GPA Award. Ms. Wixson received her Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School in 2012. She was a Dean’s Scholar, a Bronze Key Certificate Recipient, a Note and Comment Editor on the Wayne Law Review, published in the Wayne Law Review, and was awarded the Best Appellate Brief Award for her Legal Research and Writing Class Section. Ms. Wixson is a Litigation Counsel of America Fellow and a Member of the Young Advocates Committee for the Section of Litigation of the American Bar Association.

Ms. Wixson focuses her practice in business and civil litigation in both federal and state court in Michigan and around the United States. Ms. Wixson has successfully defended and represented individuals and corporations in a variety of legal matters. The results obtained by Ms. Wixson for her clients include: a complete dismissal of a declaratory and injunctive relief matter against a corporation and individual in federal court; a $125,000 settlement for an employment matter; and a $400,000 settlement for a personal injury matter.
