After an auto crash I was involved in at the end of 2015, I was referred to Mike by a family friend. I was hesitant at first because he was an "unknown". In today's world, there are so many advertisements for personal injury attorneys that it makes it tough to decide. I hired Mike in early 2016 ...and liked how he was upfront with me about the process and provided realistic expectations. Unfortunately, I learned immediately that I didn't have enough coverage. This was hard to hear but a learning experience none the less. Throughout 2016, Mike kept me updated on my case as needed and he was always responsive when I had questions. In 2017, I settled the personal injury case. While I thought I deserved more(who doesn't), I was satisfied to get what I received and only just over a year from the crash. As I left Mike's office in 2017, I didn't imagine ever going back. Not because of anything Mike did but because I was moving forward and wanted this behind me. However, more injuries from the crash manifested themselves in 2017 and 2018 to the point where I was unable to work anymore. I set up a meeting with Mike in the summer of 2018 and ended up hiring him a second time to go after my insurance provider for loss wages and medical expenses. Mike advised us that we were within the three year window to collect and that he would be able to get those for me. After quite a bit of back and forth between the insurance provider, Mike, and myself, he was ultimately correct again and we received a settlement in November of 2019. As evidenced by me hiring Mike twice within the last four years, I would recommend him to anyone involved in an auto accident in Michigan.

While on vacation in Florida, I was hit by a vehicle while walking. My friends and brother contacted Mike immediately while I lay in hospital with a broken hip. Mike provided guidance for tracking the incident, forms for attendant care, pet care, and forms to be completed by doctors for disability at... work. When I was able to travel home (to stay for several weeks with my brother and sister-in-law), Mike came out to Dexter to meet with us. He clearly explained all the forms and followed up regularly to keep me on track and timely. Most recently, Mike guided me through the process to file for loss of wages. This has been nearly a 3-year process, and Mike has guided me through it all. I don't know what would have happened to me without Mike's guidance!!
