Public Review for Tricia S. Terry – Marrs & Terry, PLLC

We reached out to Tricia Terry during one of the most difficult and uncertain seasons of our lives. Financially, emotionally, and legally—we were overwhelmed. But from the beginning, Tricia showed an uncommon level of professionalism, responsiveness, and clarity. She immediately stood out as someone ...who not only knew the law but took time to listen and care about her clients as people. When we submitted our documents and explained our situation, we felt like we were finally being heard. Tricia carried herself with confidence and compassion—the kind of person you hope to have in your corner when the system feels too big to face alone. She made us feel like our case mattered, and that she was prepared to walk us through it with strength and integrity. She was clear, timely, and asked for exactly what she needed without delay. It felt like we had finally found someone who could handle our situation with both legal skill and human decency. Unfortunately, she later informed us of a serious emergency and made the decision to withdraw from our case. While we were disappointed, we respect that unexpected life events can interrupt even the best intentions. That said, based on everything we saw during our brief time working with her, we genuinely believe Tricia is capable of representing clients with top-tier dedication and care. If she commits to your case, you can expect someone with deep legal knowledge, clear communication, and a strong moral compass. When she’s fully engaged, we believe she sets a gold standard in what legal representation should look like. We were truly hoping to work with her long-term. That’s the only reason her departure affected us the way it did. We had full confidence in her, and we still believe she has the ability to represent people with excellence. If she applies that same level of service to future clients, we have no doubt they’ll be in very good hands. —Brian & Susan Bailey

Choose your Chap 13 Bankruptcy Attorney Carefully, you must live with your decision for 3-5 years

Hired firm to handle Chap 13 case She said certain procedures could not be done, even though I questioned based on internet search that showed they could be done. Due to lack of communication, case was dismissed which turned out to be the best thing to happen with her representation. Hired new ex...cellent Bankruptcy attorney, who agreed that both procedures were easily done. saved over $70,000 on one procedure alone AND cut 36 month plan payment by almost $400 while including property taxes and student loans in plan payment. According to my attorney, they stated they were very surprised that the court approved her additional charges which they considered excessive. I would only recommend that you hire this firm for a simple chap 7 or simple personal chap 13. But you would be better off with another attorney if your case is complex, but choose carefully. I will say that although I feel they did not properly represent my BK-13 case, they are better than probably 70% of the attorneys doing bankruptcy. ----the lower score on trustworthy relates communication and filing timely responses not their integrity

I am uncertain as to your identity which of course makes it difficult to respond to your concerns. We always include student loans in a Chapter 13 so I'm not sure what would have changed. As for the procedures you refer to, I can't tell what you are talking about but I invite you to contact me directly. We actually usually handle the more difficult Chapter 13 cases. I wish you would have addressed these issues with me directly as I am left to wonder who you are and what could have been done differently in your matter.

very highly recommended!

Highly recommend marrs & terry. Their innovative, think-outside-the box approach really helped us. They were also very sensitive, and treated us with the utmost respect. We interviewed several lawyers before choosing marrs & terry, none of the others we met offered the intelligence AND kindness we... were seeking to assist us with our legal matter. They were also priced competitively which was a major plus!
