OUTCOME: Client's Driver's License Protected
Client faced a one year driver's license suspension for refusal of the blood test requested by a police officer when he was arrested for drinking and driving. Client had been in an awful car accident a ... t the time of his arrest. We scheduled an implied consent hearing to fight the suspension. The argument to the hearing officer was that my client’s refusal of the blood test was reasonable because of his condition after the car accident. The hearing office agreed with our argument and my client’s license was not suspended.

My Client was charged with a second offense operating while intoxicated. There was a strong case against him – except for the fact the incident took place three whole years before the charge. OUTCOME: Plea bargain to impeding traffic tickets
An out-of-state trucker called our office. He had received a whole mess of misdemeanors and civil infraction tickets from an over-zealous Michigan State Trooper. These charges had the potential to end ... his career as a trucker. I spent two hours at court speaking with the trooper and a county prosecutor. I was able to work out a deal resulting in only a couple of impeding traffic tickets, which would not get reported to the Secretary of State or the trucker’s employer and insurance carrier.
