Divorce matter

I used Mr. Talpos on many occasions. Mr. Talpos is very trustworthy and honest. His staff is very helpful if he is not available. He got the case over quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend him to others.

AWESOME

Mr. Talpos represented me on my OWI matter. He was able to get it reduced to non-alcohol. He kept me informed and believe me he was worth every penny that I spent to have a non-alcohol conviction. After all, what would I be paying the State of Michigan with an alcohol conviction for the next sever...al years. His experience sure proved to be worth the bucks spent.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I worked for John while in law school and observed his high ethical standards firsthand at that time. Since entering practice, I have referred my own family members to John. He has decades of experience; he is no stranger to trial practice; and he is honest and fair. I would not hesitate to recommend John as an arbitrator, as I am confident that he would at all times seek the most equitable and legally appropriate resolution to any dispute."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
