I am a tax attorney dedicated to helping individuals and businesses resolve IRS and state tax problems and plan ahead so those problems don’t return.

My practice focuses on tax controversy and resolution: IRS and state audits, appeals, collections (liens, levies, garnishments), offers in compromise, installment agreements, currently not collectible status, penalty abatement, innocent spouse relief, employment/payroll tax issues, and offshore or international disclosure matters. I also advise businesses and individuals on tax planning when a proactive strategy can prevent a later dispute.

Clients come to me when they are facing a notice they don’t understand, a deadline they can’t miss, or a balance they cannot pay. My job is to take control of the process, communicate clearly with the taxing agencies, and pursue the most realistic path to resolution, whether that is reducing the liability, stopping collection action, or negotiating a workable payment arrangement.

I approach every matter with two priorities: protect the client’s rights and give them a clear picture of options, risks, and next steps. Tax problems are stressful. You should not have to guess what the IRS or state is doing or what it will cost to fix.
