Client from Detroit moved to West Coast. Did not realize he had numerous (7) misdemeanor arrest warrants outstanding and multiple Felony Warrants outstanding , before he moved. We arranged Self Surr ... ender where we argued for and received a personal bonds on all the cases. Thereafter,all misdemeanor warrants were dismissed. All misdemeanor charges dismissed. The Felony Warrants were set aside, Felony charges were dismissed and client pled to two reduced misdemeanors. This all transpired within 72 hours of his arrival back into the Metro Detroit Area to self surrender. Upon boarding his flight back to the west coast, he was a free man (was not arrested upon self surrender), free of warrants and all misdemeanor and felony charges. As a result he was eligible to receive the federal benefits that were taken from him because of the warrants and able to enroll in college.
