I have been practicing law in the Tri-county and Metro Detroit area for over 12 years. Prior to entering private practice, I have experience on all sides of the table having clerked in Circuit Court in Genesee County, represented hundreds of men and women, and worked as a Referee in Oakland County. Currently I am specializing in Family Law, primarily in the areas of Child Custody, Divorce, and Child Welfare Law. Our firm also handles Criminal Law, Labor and Employment, and Personal Injury cases.

Unresponsive
Ms. Edwards handled my divorce in 2017. Once I paid her, it took me nearly three weeks to get her to respond to my inquiries. I phoned, emailed, and texted. Her unresponsiveness continued throughout the process. I signed an agreement. In it stated I would get monthly statements. I never received one....

Replied last September 19, 2020Thank you for your feedback. I am not sure who this is as there is no last name and it is over 3 years old. I would not keep $200 and wondered if you moved or if something happened that you would not have received it if that is a discussion that was had. That is why I always give clients my cell number so that I am easy to reach and my cell, email or office number have been the same for much more than 5 years I have tried to search for this but do not have any unresolved issues. It is possible that it was sent and not received but I do not have any correspondence requesting $200 that I can find. I think you are saying thee was an error in your bill and I should have owed you $200? If this is the case please contact my office with your information so that this can be resolved. I certainly do not want to owe someone out there $200.
