Biography
I am a senior shareholder at Sommers Schwartz, P.C., one of Michigan’s premier law firms. For more than two decades, I have been tremendously successful in handling complex personal injury and medical malpractice cases. I was the recipient of the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association Award, which was based upon my successful representation of three families who filed federal tort claims against the National Institute of Health. I represent clients in multiple counties throughout the State of Michigan, and have litigated cases in states throughout the country including Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, Minnesota, Georgia, and Maryland. I specialize in birth trauma litigation, delay in diagnosing medical conditions, and wrongful death/catastrophic injury cases. I have successfully resolved hundreds of medical negligence cases and has been responsible for numerous settlements in excess of $1,000,000.
