Ron Weiner, a partner at Lipton Law in Southfield, facilitates full time after 35 years litigating civil cases. His mediation docket includes medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, auto/no-fault, premises, industrial and employment cases. Ron is an officer of the Michigan chapter of American Board of Trial Advocates, serves on the State Bar Negligence Section Council, is a past-president of the Michigan Association for Justice and in 2024 received the Respected Advocate Award from the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel. Ron is also a past chair of the Circuit Court Committee and the Case Evaluation Committee for Oakland County. He received his JD from Syracuse University in 1987. In the community, Ron serves on the advisory committee and is a past board chair of Gilda’s Club of Metro Detroit, an organization which provides free programs and resources to those afflicted with cancer and their families.
