I devote the majority of my practice representing clients who have been injured as a result of nursing home neglect and abuse or medical malpractice.

As the “baby boomer” generation continues to age, more and more people will require the assistance of nursing homes and long-term care facilities.  Unfortunately, the increased demand does not necessarily lend itself to improved quality of care.  Elder abuse and injury continues to occur at nursing homes and long-term care facilities at an alarming rate.  This can be attributed to staff shortages, inadequate training, or a lack of oversight. 

Families faced with the decision to place a loved one in a nursing home or long-term care facility know it is a difficult one, and will take all necessary precautions to ensure that their loved one is well-taken care of.  While Nursing home residents and long-term care facility residents deserve high quality care, this is not always provided to them.  This is why I choose to devote the majority of my practice to nursing home abuse and neglect cases.  It is my goal to ensure that residents who have been abused and neglected are protected, and facilities that provide substandard care are held accountable.
