They ultimately lost in the lower court and on motion for reconsideration, lost on appeal and on motion for reconsideration, and was denied leave to appeal to the Michigan Supreme Court.

Decedent, who was a beneficiary of his mother's trust, died leaving a holographic (handwritten) will leaving his remaining inheritance to his cousin. Contingent beneficiaries of the Trust contested the ... validity of the holographic will and lost in the lower court on our motion for summary disposition. They then appealed that opinion to the Court of Appeals, which upheld the lower court's decision.
