Mr. Toll graduated from the University of Pennsylvania, Harvard Law School and Oxford University (U.K.), receiving academic honors at all three universities. He has been practicing law since 1967, specializing in business litigation.
Mr. Toll was a partner at Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP in Detroit (1972-2003), general counsel of AlixPartners (2003-2007), and has been in private practice in his own firm, Sheldon S. Toll PLLC, from 2008 to date.
Mr. Toll is a contributing editor of The Bankruptcy Litigation Manual, and is the author of Toll’s Pennsylvania Crimes Code. He is a Past-President of the Detroit Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. He is currently listed in Best Lawyers in America, 2015 edition, and Who's Who in America, 2015 edition.
