Mr. Pham is correct as usual. Your mom cannot expect to receive these benefits simply by obtaining her green card.

I agree with Attorney Rogers. If you are on SSDI then you have no worries. If you are on SSI then you cannot leave the country for more than 30...

If you are not married it will not matter. Further, if your ex-wife is receiving SSD - as opposed to SSI - it will not matter.

That is very unlikely and I have never heard of such a thing happening.
