Biography
Exclusively representing injured workers for over thirty-seven years, Mr. Alpert is a Fellow of the College of Workers' Compensation Lawyers, a Past-Chairperson of the Workers’ Compensation Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and a Past-Chairperson of the Workers’ Compensation Committee of the Michigan Association for Justice. He is a member of WILG's Legislative Committee, a WILG State Captain, WILG Membership Hall of Fame recruiter, and a WILG Board member. He was a member of the State of Michigan Governor’s Workers’ Compensation Efficiency Initiative Task Force, and is accredited by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of the General Counsel, for representation of Veterans of the United States Military. He has argued numerous cases in the Michigan Supreme Court, has tried over 300 cases, and has been a speaker, moderator, and panelist at numerous seminars in various states.
