Best person in the profession

She was professional, worked with me every step of the way. She helped my fiancé (who was facing 25 years in prison )get his case was settled done to 4 years even after catching and another case while in jail. We literally fired his 1st attorney and got with Ms Deborah Schlussel. Best decision ever.

Life saver!!!

In September of 2023 I made a mistake that could’ve potentially resulted in some serious prison time. I was charged with 2 felonies that were each punishable by up to 20 years in prison. After being released from jail on bond, I had to act quickly because I knew a public defender wouldn’t be adequate... for the situation I was in. After talking to multiple lawyers and hearing about how difficult the case would be, I felt helpless. Debbie was one of the many lawyers I contacted and left a message. Most didn’t respond. She called me back that evening and was the first lawyer I spoke to that eased my mind and spoke to me like everything was going to be okay. She listened to my perspective on the matter diligently and assured me that she would take care of me. I had never been in any trouble before so I was very concerned about my future and the legal process in general. I just kept thinking that I would have to do time in prison and I didn’t how to handle that. Debbie assured me that I would be okay countless times. In hindsight, I wish I would’ve just listened to her from the start as it would’ve saved me a lot of panic. She was right. She never misled me or told me things that were untrue. She either immediately responded to any questions I had, or called me back as soon as she was free and talked to me. A lesser lawyer would’ve probably ignored me or told me to stop contacting them so much. She is very accessible and always willing to have a conversation about your case, no matter how redundant the questions are. She even had conversations with my mother to ease her concern multiple times, which she did not have to do. She drove well over an hour to my multiple court appearances. She fought for me hard in the courtroom and we eventually settled for a very favorable plea deal that resulted in me receiving 12 months of unsupervised probation. That’s unheard of in my situation. She worked tirelessly on my case and I am forever grateful for her work as it likely saved my future. She is very reasonably priced as well. I would hire her again and again, although I will not be getting into any kind of legal trouble again. If you’re in a bind, I cannot recommend her enough. Debbie is simply the best!

Debbie is not only a great lawer. She's also amazing person!

I used Debbie on two occasions, she was always available to answer my questions and concerns even after both of my cases were settled! She put me at ease throughout the legal process. She achieved the best results possible in both cases. I highly recommend Debbie!

Highly satisfied

Debbie helped out with my process and I felt lost while dealing with my case and she was able to explain it and fight for a fair judgement.
