Clifford B. Walkon

As managing partner at the Law Center for Social Security Rights, I have been in practice since 1977 and oversee the work product of our support staff along with maintaining a very busy caseload. I have handled as many administrative hearings as any other attorney in the State.  I enjoy giving presentations and seminars to various organizations. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Wayne State University and my law degree from Detroit College of Law. I take pride in my ability to advocate for my clients, with compassion, and thoroughly develop the record, as well as paying attention to detail. Because of my diverse personal and professional background, I can utilize a unique and refreshing perspective in pursuing benefits for my clients. After all these years of practice, I still find Social Security Disability and SSI law challenging and very rewarding. I can think of no other area of law where obtaining benefits for your client can make the difference between paying your bills and being homeless.  For me, this is the driving force that keeps me in practice.
