Husband and wife married for 14 years, with two minor children. Husband filed for divorce against Wife, attempted to have Wife ejected from the marital home. Wife had little funds to pay for representation, but was awarded $7,500.00 in attorney's fees to be paid by Husband during the pendency of the action to assist with her defense. Discovery revealed that Husband was dissipating marital assets on a paramour.
OUTCOME: Order of Protection dismissed. Both felony assault charges dismissed.
