Praise for Jane Groves Enright

I hired Ms. Enright to represent me in a Real Estate matter. She was professional , knowledgeable and with with to work. I noted the other review of Ms. Enright. This appears to be one of those clients who professional persons wish to avoid. I would recommend Ms. Enright to anyone who needs help. She... is very good at commercial litigation as well.

Absolutely Terrible !!

I was in a frenzy and seeking an attorney. I called through the yellow pages and someone along the way gave me Mrs. Enrights number. I contacted her and asked if she could handle my real estate case. I have a home in foreclosure with my deceased brother and I on the title and Mortgage she said s...he could help. She told me to meet her in her office with a 4000 check for her retainer and I obliged. I met her handed her the check signed the retainer. My foreclosure had a Redemption deadline and Mrs. Enright said she would file a complaint for me to halt the proceedings with an injunction as there are many issues with my case. I told her I wanted my day in court to explain what has happened. She assured me I would have my day in court. Instead, she did not file anything, the deadline lapsed and I lost all my rights as a homeowner!! She assured me I would still be able to buy my home back . Then she stipulated to my eviction!! I asked her what is going on? This is not why I hired you? I hired you to save my home not roll over. She said she did the best work for me and will send me a bill. I said a bill for what? I was mortified. She sends me a bill for approximately 2600.00 and keeps my change! And as of today, I have yet to receive the remaining 1400. She failed in representing me by doing nothing on my behalf. She failed in advising me her plan to let the house lapse and repurchase. She failed in her research. She failed in giving me back my remaining funds. I know this sounds hard to believe, but it is true and happened/happening to me. I filed a complaint with the Attorney Grievance Commission and was told it is a civil matter. I am now in the process of suing her on various counts, including getting back my change! In 48th District Court, I received a Jury Judgement against Jane Enright on 3/21/2013 for Breach of Contract.
