OUTCOME: Divorce granted for the first time in the state of MIchigan to a woman in a coma after 5 1/2 week trial establishing the marital breakdown. Appealed to Court of Appeals. Affirmed.

Divorce action brought on behalf of women who was in a persistent vegetative state by her court appointed guardian/conservator.
