As a practicing employment law attorney and counselor based in the Metro Detroit area, I work strategically with organizations to create a better place for all employees to work.

I represent both large and small employers in a variety of matters in both state and federal court, including claims involving employment discrimination, disability accommodations, family and medical leave and wage and hour issues. I also represent employers before numerous administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, and Department of Labor. 

I also assist employers with practical advice and innovative solutions for preventing and mitigating risk events arising in the workplace, including day-to-day advice and counseling and human resources and supervisor training. I also conduct and counsel clients in sensitive and complex investigations arising from employee complaints.

I frequently lecture on various employment topics, including the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act.
