Amy is the best type of lawyer one could want - she is tough when needed, extremely knowledgeable about her field, confident, supportive, straightforward, reliable and cognizant of keeping financial commitments at a reasonable level. Amy handled my divorce and was not only excellent in her delivery ...of services, but was very supportive during a difficult time. Unlike other lawyers that I tried to work with initially, she was very conscientious about not antagonizing our situation only to increase her billable hours. In fact, she was very clear with me about how much I would be spending if I decided to fight for certain items so that I could make informed choices. Amy helped us become more amicable in our settlement, yet if I needed her to be tough in a situation she definitely did not back down. In the end, she was so good at her work that my ex-husband practically dumped his lawyer and we primarily used Amy to help us finish the job. Throughout the years, I have contacted Amy with questions and additional help and she has always been an incredible resource and support. She remembered every detail of my case and was able to reflect back on the spirit of why certain decisions and commitments were made. This helped my ex-husband and I to resolve some issues along the way and in the many years we have been divorced, we have never had to go back to court. I was very pleased with the outcome of our divorce agreement and if I ever need to go back to court, Amy is the only lawyer I would ever feel comfortable working with. I have referred several friends to Amy and they have always been pleased as well. This is definitely a person you want on your side - whether you are trying to resolve a divorce amicably or you need someone tough to handle a high conflict situation. I am not familiar with her work in other areas, but I can only imagine that she is as thorough and professional as she is with divorce and child support issues.
