My client was a landlord who had a tenant that was so problematic the police were going to pursue charges against the landlord under the cities Safe Residence ordinance, unless the tenant was evicted. ... I was able to obtain an immediate or 'expedited' eviction, a money judgement for past due rent and a trespass order barring any of the occupants from returning. The Missouri statute for Immediate Eviction is section 441.740.1 This satisfied local law enforcement which prevented any further liability on the part of the landlord.
