My Client and her brother inherited property from their mother. My Client, at her own expense and no assistance from her sibling, took care of all of the probate costs of her mother's estate and the c ... arrying costs for the property. My Client desired to sell the property and re-coup some of her costs, but her brother was unwilling to cooperate with her. I successfully negotiated a Partition by Sale Agreement between the Parties without need for court intervention. As part of the agreement, my Client was reimbursed for Attorney's Fees, Cost of Sale, Probate Costs, Property Maintenance and Carrying Costs.
