Client was buyer of a property under a contract for deed (land contract) - making payments to gain equity - and seller wrongfully evicted buyer after tens of thousands were invested in the property and ... years of mortgage payments. We filed suit against seller, obtained a temporary restraining order against seller to delay the eviction, obtained sanctions against seller for improper conduct during the litigation, and settled case, putting buyer back into property and a new contract to purchase property outright.
