Client charged with Felony Identity Theft and Grand Larceny twice. Meaning, client had two separate felony dockets for Identity Theft and Grand Larceny. There was, however, a story to be told about w ... hat took place. I brought client in for a proffer session, aka, "Queen for a Day," with the Manhattan DA's Office, and explained why the criminal charges should be dismissed. The Associate District Attorney called me a week later to tell me that my both my client's felony matters would be dismissed at the next adjournment.

Client was arrested for having a fight with their spouse. Their young kids were home when the fight happened, and client was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, in addition to assault. M ... y client had been hurt badly by an abusive spouse in the past, and this time she chose to fight back. I worked with client in Criminal Court and in Family Court. I helped client beat the criminal case, get custody in family court, and find a new home in a Domestic Violence shelter for women. We then worked with the program to find a two-bedroom-apartment for my client and children, where she is lives free from the interference of an abusive spouse and the criminal justice system.

Client's ex- partner and mother to his two young children used an order of protection stemming from a falsely made assault allegation to ruin my client's life. This disgruntled and bitter person made ... a series of false criminal accusations against my client, which resulted in my client being jailed three times, for a total of 4 months. And to make matters worse, my client was on parole, and facing state prison time if convicted. I worked with my client's parole attorney, the Manhattan District Attorney's Office, and several NYPD precincts to prove a pattern of false accusations, which resulted the dismissal of his parole case, and three criminal cases, including one felony.

Client Found Innocent at Trial of Driving While Intoxicated After Crash with NYPD Cruiser

OUTCOME: Full Acquittal at Trial

Client was accused of Driving While Intoxicated, and Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol. Client refused the Field Sobriety Test ("FST") at the scene, because he hit an NYPD patrol car (aka "RMP ... ") at 50 MPH, and felt the NYPD immediately placed the blame on him, instead of properly investigating the cause of the accident. I was able to show, over the course of a 5-day-long jury trial, that the NYPD'a break in police protocol caused a dangerous road condition that resulted in a car accident. My client was acquitted of all charges in 15 minutes.
