OUTCOME: On certiorari, the Supreme Court of Georgia held that the medical malpractice statute of repose did not bar the claim for contribution.

In the underlying case a plaintiff obtained a $4.4 million judgement against a hospital and a doctor. The hospital paid the majority of the judgement, and we were engaged to seek contribution.
