Mr. Cespedes maintained his innocence throughout a Secret Service investigation and told the jury how he had stumbled across the cards in a junk yard while he was searching for car parts for his mechanic work. He had thrown the wallet with the cards into his toolbox as an after thought and forgot all about them. The Commonwealth had no evidence that he had ever utilized any one of those cards.
