Smoked

I choose Mr. Young based on his claim of expertise in family law. Felt we had a very strong case but Mr. Young got smoked by the other attorney. Literally cost me 10’s of thousands of dollars. I formally terminated Mr. Young’s services or I would have been more underwater. Switched attorneys and new ...attorney had claim settled in the matter of weeks.

Highly Recommend!

Jonathan did a great job representing me for a divorce. He was very knowledgeable on custody, child support, and parenting time guidelines, and was always prepared whether it was for mediation or court. I highly recommend him to anyone needing an attorney. I know he also helped one of my family memb...ers with a will and an estate and they were very happy with his services on those as well.

Divorce and Custody

I am extremely pleased with the legal services Jonathon Young rendered throughout the entire process of a very difficult divorce and child custody case. Mr. Young handled personal issues with sensitivity and compassion, yet assertively represented my best interests during all phases of the case. H...e demonstrated the utmost professionalism in the courtroom and his knowledge of the law gave me the confidence to make difficult decisions. I would highly recommend Jonathon Young to my closest friends or family members in need of an attorney.

Divorce\custody case

We hired Jonathan for a divorce/custody case in which we thought would be simple and it turned out to be anything but that. Jonathan navigated us through a court system we didn't understand. He was always available to answer our questions/emails. He was knowledgable and extremely thorough and we fe...lt confident when entering the courtroom. He was ethical, available, understanding, knowledgable, and always professional. I would highly recommend Jonathan to family and friends and wouldn't hesitate to hire him again.

Worst attorney

I used him for a custody trail. Was not prepared for the trail and I felt he did a horrible job of representing me in my case. You can tell that he hasn't had many years behind his belt that's for sure

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
