I had a consult for family law to discuss giving my husband who left me as little as possible. When they called the forms were not correct. So I tried to talk to secretary about issue and she said she would get back to me. Weeks later and multiple messages and emails, and I finally get ahold of some...one. I met again with attorney as i was frustrated and nothing had been done. I changed gears and requested to change the name of the title for my house to protect my assets. I took the forms to county office but they were done so I would loose my homestead benefit. The office had to do it again and this time the parcel number was incorrect so I had to cross out some numbers and initial. I requested an itemized charges from the deposit I provided and told attorney I just wanted my funds that he still had from deposit. He schedule to meet with me and I was early but office was locked and no lights. About 15 minutes after appt time I called office and secretary answered from her home stating he was in court and handed told her if appt. She said she would get in contact with him and call back. It has been over 2 days and I haven't received anything. He claims that out of the $2000 deposit I only have a little over $1200 left. I am not impressed with the attorneys office or his ability to listen to his clients. At one time, as no one was returning my calls, I sent a certified letter to get a response.
