Radware Ltd. v. F5 Networks, Inc.
Mar 16, 2016OUTCOME: Won $6.4 million (before enhancement)
A California jury awarded $6.4 million to Israel-based Radware Ltd. in a patent infringement suit against F5 Networks Inc., saying F5 willfully infringed two network load-balancing patents. Jurors a ... warded Radware $5 million in lost profits and $1.4 million in royalties for F5's infringing sales of its Link Controller products, and awarded nothing for F5's infringing sales of its GTM products. The patents are related to processes for allocating and balancing inbound and outbound communications for computer networks with multiple connections to the Internet. The damages awarded may be tripled in light of the willfulness verdict.
