About E.
Biography
Allen Griggs is a medical negligence attorney and board-certified anatomic and clinical pathologist. He is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute, the University of Virginia School of Medicine, and did his specialty training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. He served as a major in the Army Medical Corps, receiving the Army Commendation Medal.
Allen is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Law, and admitted to the Bar of Indiana and practice before the Supreme Court of Indiana and the United States District Courts in Indiana. He has authored many scientific and legal publications and contributed to a medical-legal textbook. He regularly teaches seminars to attorneys on medical malpractice and wrongful death. He is a member of the Indiana Bar Association and Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, and a Fellow of the American College of Legal Medicine, from which he received the President’s Award for contributions to the textbook – Legal Medicine: Legal Dynamics of Medical Encounters, 2nd Edition.
