Kathryn Susanne Manning

I had a DUI case in 2011, pleaded not guilty, and was given Ms. Manning as a public defender. Accepting they have large caseloads, over the course of 3 months I never received a single letter or correspondence. I had family and friends write and call and her answering machine actually said if you cal...l twice your file will be placed at the back of the line. After my court hearing came and went (she called in sick and didn't inform anyone) I finally hired a real attorney and was released the next day with more than enough time served. He called it gross negligience. A majority of people in my block had her as well, one saying he'd seen her once in 9 months. I've accepted my role and consequences, but I find it difficult to accept her behavior as an inept, horrible attorney.
