probable cause
Jan 15, 2016OUTCOME: warrant issued
I was working with a client on a civil breach of contract case. My clients had contracted with and paid an individual who not only failed to do the contracted work, but also was not issuing a refund. I ... was able to successfully bring this case before a Judge, who agreed with my argument that this individual's behavior had crossed the line from civil to criminal. The judge found the individual's behavior amounted to felony theft by deception and issued a warrant for his arrest.
