Juvenile charged with two counts of felony second degree robbery. Case was set for adjudication (like a trial in adult court) and the District Attorney and I negotiated a settlement of one count of con ... spiracy to commit a robbery. Client was placed on probation and released from custody. This resolution allows for the juvenile's record to be dismissed and sealed so as there are no future collateral consequences for this youth.

My client was charged with two counts of resisting arrest and one count of spousal battery. I was able to reach a resolution with the District Attorney that avoided any immigration consequences: one co ... unt of resisting arrest dismissed and the spousal battery dismissed. My client entered a plea to one count of resisting arrest with no time in custody and no probation, just a small fine.

Juvenile case, minor was facing very serious charges including: two felony counts of assault likely to cause great bodily injury with gang enhancements; one count of battery; one count of felony street ... terrorism; and one count of possessing ammunition by a minor. The case was resolved with one count of assault, placed on probation, and released from custody. It is important to note that counseling services were set up and gang intervention classes as well to ensure that this minor becomes a contributing member of society.

Minor facing one count of felony second degree burglary and one count of felony vandalism. I argued that the court consider this minor for Informal Probation pursuant to Welfare and Institutions Code s ... ection 654.3, which means that the minor is on probation for six months, if they do not violate during that time the case is dismissed. The judge agreed with me and found unusual circumstances to permit informal probation.

OUTCOME: Not filed/Restraining Order Dropped/ Arrest reduced to Detention

Facing possible charges for felony domestic violence, I reached out to the District Attorney reviewing the case and sent over documentation showing that my client had been the victim of domestic violen ... ce and was being falsely accused. The District Attorney rejected the case and no charges were filed. In family court the spouse filed a restraining order against my client. We fought vigorously and ended up filing for a restraining order against that spouse. As a result, we settled the matter by withdrawing both restraining orders and agreeing to joint custody. Lastly, I contacted the arresting agency, Clovis Police Department and had my client's arrest reduced to a detention.

Client came to me seeking to clear his record. After reviewing his record his only option was to seek a Certificate of Rehabilitation. I filed a motion and argued at the hearing on his behalf. The Cert ... ificate of Rehabilitation was granted and we are now in the process of waiting to see if he is also granted a Governor's Pardon.

Charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. I filed a motion to suppress because the officer unlawfully stopped my client. We had a hearing on the motion to suppress and a pre ... liminary hearing at which the officer testified. My client was not held to answer and the case was dismissed.
