Biography
Doug Leatherbury has been practicing law for over 40 years in Washington County, Indiana.
In the 1960’s, Doug Leatherbury enrolled at Indiana University where he majored in history and minored in government. After college he worked as a 5th grade teacher for a year, before he was accepted into Indiana University School of Law.
In 1968, Doug earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence, and to date, he has given legal counsel in over 6,000 cases.
He’s been elected Prosecutor and has held several community positions such as Public Defender, County Chairman, and Precinct Committeeman. Currently, he is the President of the Washington County Bar Association.
